Welcome Our New Doctor!

Dr. Ramu Rangineni (Dr. Ramu) is joining our clinic in 2023!   Dr. Rangineni received his medical degree in 1996 and completed his residency in internal medicine in New York City at the hospital affiliated with the medical school of Cornell University.  He received many awards there including the “Award for Excellence in the Ambulatory Setting” and the “Resident of the Year” award in 2004 for all-around exemplary performance.  He has been board certified since 2004 by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

For the past 18 years, he has been working with Texas Health Care at the downtown hospitals taking care of the acutely ill hospital patients for Dr. Hammonds and the other primary care doctors in the area.  There he was consulted by primary care doctors, surgeons, and other specialty doctors to take care of their sickest patients with medical conditions including diabetes, blood pressure, infections, and other serious conditions that required medical expertise.   Dr. Ramu did serve as Chief of the Division of Internal Medicine and as the Chief of Medical Staff at the hospital, both positions elected by his physician peers.  He is excited now about making the transition to office practice and will strive to provide excellent and comprehensive care for our patients.

Dr. Ramu is happily married and lives in Southlake with his wife and two teenage children.  He is an avid reader and enjoys music and traveling with his family.
